State Migration Service has addressed to foreigners and stateless persons visiting the country related with the European Football Championship to be held in Baku can obtain visa at the state border crossing points by presenting one of the following documents until July 5, 2021, Service told APA.
- Official invitation letter of the Organizing Committee or Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) on the holding of the matches in Baku;
- Accreditation card or other document proving accreditation of a person in accordance with relevant rules of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA);
- A match ticket or other document proving purchase of a ticket for nationals of the countries represented by the football teams participating in the matches to be held in Baku and for stateless persons who are permanent residents of those countries.
Foreigners and stateless persons visiting the country related with the football matches should submit a document confirming the negative result of the PCR test for COVID-19, issued within 72 hours before the flight.
Note that foreigners and stateless persons visiting Azerbaijan related with the matches of the European Championship should get registered upon their place of stay in case they intend to stay in the country for more than 15 days.
