"Today - September 9 is celebrated as International Day to Protect Education from Attack, in accordance with Resolution #74/275 of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN). As a result of war crimes, committed by Armenia against Azerbaijani pupils, children's right to getting an education in a safe condition has been restricted," Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev wrote on his Facebook account, APA reports.
Minister noted that our pupils lost their lives due to it, our schools were destroyed, or were brought to poor condition: "As a result of the attacks on education, 10 students were killed, 16 injured, and 60 schools were destroyed during the war last year in Azerbaijan."
