Azerbaijani serviceman, martyred as a result of Armenian provocation, has been laid to rest, APA’s local bureau reports.

Martyr Ibrahim Valiyev has been laid to rest in the cemetery of Gelme village of Zardab region.
The farewell ceremony has been attended by officers of State Border Service of Azerbaijan, the leadership of the region, community representatives and relatives of the martyr.

The farewell ceremony is being held for the Azerbaijani serviceman martyred as a result of the Armenian provocation, APA’s local bureau reports.

The corpse of the martyr Ibrahim Veliyev has been brought to his native Zardab region.

Currently, the farewell ceremony is being held for the martyr.

Today, the martyr will be laid to rest in the cemetery of Gelme village of Zardab region.

Note that the units of the armed forces of Armenia, grossly violating the ceasefire regime on the front line, once again committed a provocation. A diversion attempt by Armenian Armed Forces from units located near Koti village in Noyemberyan district in the direction to the border post in the village of Gushchi Ayrim village of Kazakh region of Azerbaijan was prevented, one of the servicemen of the enemy side which forced to suffer serious losses was seriously injured and another was killed. While preventing the provocation conducted by the diversion unit of the enemy with the use of grenades and other large calibre weapons, Azerbaijani border serviceman Valiyev Ibrahim Alamshah oglu martyred heroically.
