United States President Joe Biden on Friday ruled out the transfer of American fighter jets to Ukraine "for now," underlining there is "no basis upon which there is a rationale to provide F-16s," according to the country's military, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Look, we're sending him what our seasoned military thinks he needs now. He needs tanks, he needs artillery, he needs air defense, including another HIMARS," the US 46th president told ABC News in an interview. "There's things he needs now that we're sending him to put them in a position to be able to make gains this spring and this summer going into the fall," Biden added.
