The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Baku and Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau has held the presentation of Poland-Azerbaijan initiatives dedicated to Polish architectural heritage, APA reports.
Opening the event with an introduction speech Deputy Culture Minister Sevda Mammadova spoke about nature of the event and the Polish-Azerbaijani friendship.
"This is the clearest example of the strength of democratic ties, the statue of peace, which was inaugurated in 2013 by national leader Heydar Aliyev and symbolizes the Azerbaijani-Polish brotherhood in central Poland," Sevda Mammadaliyeva said.
Stressing that the relations between the two countries are in all directions, the Deputy Minister stressed that the initiative will be useful for tourists. "I think that this project will attract the attention of tourists from Poland to Azerbaijan and best demonstrate the cultural gardens of both countries."
