Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev has condemned the killing of 13 Turkish citizens by the PKK terrorist organization in northern Iraq, APA reports citing the Council.
"On behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own behalf, I strongly condemn the treacherous terrorist attack in which 16 Turkish citizens were martyred by PKK terrorists in the Gara region in northern Iraq.
I wish God’s mercy on martyrs who lost their lives in this heinous attack, convey our condolences to their families and people of Turkey and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Turkic Council perceives terrorism a crime against humanity and reiterates its firm support to the brotherly Turkey in its resolute fight against terrorism," said Mr Amreyev.
