Ankara is determined to end the existence of terrorism within the country and along its borders, said Türkiye's Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar in an interview with NTV channel, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.
He noted that his country prevented the creation of a terrorist corridor on the territory of Syria and protected the territorial integrity of Syria.
According to the minister, currently, 3/1 of Syria is under the control of terrorists. Akar also added that preparations for the establishment of a coordination mechanism with the Syrian side are ongoing.
