"PKK-YPG, FETÖ, and other terrorist organizations are a major problem for both Turkiye and Iran," said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.
He noted that the two countries should jointly fight against these terrorist organizations. Erdogan added that there is potential to increase cooperation between Turkiye and Iran in the field of the defense industry and oil and gas.
President of Turkiye emphasized importance of the meeting of the leaders of Turkiye, Iran and Russia in Tehran as part of the Astana process.
