The imposition of financial sanctions has been envisaged starting from January 1, 2020 for the cases of failure to install POS terminals or refusal of application to consumers of POS terminals in case they have been installed in Azerbaijan, Samira Musayeva, Head of Main Tax Policy Department of Ministry of Taxes said at the briefing dedicated to the changes made in the Tax Code, “APA-Economics” reports.
"If such violation is committed for the first time during a calendar year, the financial sanction in the amount of AZN 1,000 will be imposed, if the violation is committed for the second time, AZN 3,000 will be charged, and if the violation is committed for the third time, AZN 6,000 will be charged. These are the financial sanctions equal to the sanctions for failure to introduce cash registers", - S. Musayeva noted.
