A meeting of the working group on economic issues of the Interdepartmental Center operating under the Coordination Headquarters, created to resolve issues in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, was held, APA-Economics reports.
The issue of the participation of foreign companies in the restoration of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan was discussed at the meeting.
It was noted that the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under the Ministry of Economy receives, analyzes applications related to entrepreneurial activities in these territories, informs entrepreneurs, gives appropriate recommendations, and sends applications in accordance with the law. The priority of investment projects submitted to the Agency is analyzed, potential projects are determined and entered into the information base.
It was noted at the meeting that the State Program for the Rehabilitation and Sustainable Development of the Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation for 2021-2025, prepared by the Ministry of Economy, provides for a mechanism to encourage investments to increase investment attraction.
The coordination headquarters, created by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 24, 2020, is headed by the head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev.
