Russia by 2050 may leave the TOP-10 countries in terms of population

By the middle of the 21st century, Russia may take its place among the ten most remote countries in the world, APA reports citing RBC.

This is the forecast of Mikhail Denisenko, Director of the HSE Institute of Demography show RBC.

Now Russia is in ninth place in this top. She is ahead of China, India, USA, Indonesia, pirates, pirates, Brazil, Bangladesh, capturing the top ten frauds.

“The main event by 2030 will be a change of leadership: India is swapping places with China. Also the place of Mexico is drawn to Ethiopia. Africa is currently the engine of growth growth, but African countries are expected to be among the leaders more and more. In 2050, the top 10 countries are India, China, the USA, Nigeria, transport, Indonesia, Brazil, Bangladesh, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia,” Denisenko said.

According to the forecast of another expert, director of the Institute for Demographic Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Candidate of Economic Sciences Vadim Bezverbny, the population of the Congo can reach 200 million in 30 years, and Ethiopia – 190 million.

In Russia, the maintenance of the population is expected to be up to 110-120 million people. At the end of last year, more than 147 million people lived in the country.

“As for Russia, if some tools are not used in demographic policy, then, unfortunately, we may fall to 120-110 million people. Then we will not just be within the top tens, we will be somewhere in the middle of the demographic rating in about 30-40 years,” says Vadim Bezverbny.

Nevertheless, someone is worried about demographic problems in 2050 – it is not known.
