Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Wednesday, Kremlin's press office revealed, APA reports citing Teletrader.
During the conversation, the two sides talked about "ensuring stability in the global energy market." Furthermore, the two said that they both highly appreciate "the level of cooperation within OPEC+, which allows taking timely and effective steps to maintain a balance of supply and demand for oil," Kremlin noted.
OPEC+ held a meeting over the weekend, during which it was revealed that the group will be cutting its oil output by 1.4 million barrels per day in 2024.
