A delegation led by the Minister of Economy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SOCAR Mikayil Jabbarov, who is on a visit to Türkiye, met with the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye Fatih Donmez, SOCAR told APA-Economics.
Mikayil Jabbarov noted the contribution of “Petkim Wind Power Plant” to the increase of Türkiye 's renewable energy potential and a significant reduction in carbon emissions.
Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez expressed his views on further strengthening of Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation, his country's participation as an investor in projects to increase gas production in Azerbaijan.
The meeting discussed opportunities between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of energy, renewable energy, opportunities to expand SOCAR's activities in Türkiye and other issues of mutual interest.
