"Sweden and Finland's joining NATO is a condition for strengthening the organization. I welcome their accession to the organization," said Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said at a joint press conference with his Turkish and Romanian counterparts in Istanbul, APA's Instanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that this is required by European security, but this step should be in favor of NATO allies, including Turkey.
According to him, the process of membership of these two countries in NATO can last for months.
