In Ukraine, more than a thousand settlements were liberated, APA reports citing Ukrainskaya Pravda.
The infrastructure of the territories liberated from the Russian forces is being restored.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian attack in Ukraine, 1,003 settlements have been liberated, and 70% of them have reopened the local government," said Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko at a briefing on May 10.
In addition, gas supply was restored in 650 settlements, electricity in 83% of liberated towns and villages, water supply and sewerage in 60%, gas stations in 49%, mobile communication and Internet services were restored in 720 settlements.
