Mykhailo Podolyak, chief adviser to the office of the President of Ukraine, said in an interview with a Spanish newspaper "20 minutes"about what weapons the Ukrainian army needs at this stage, APA reports citing Social Bites.

He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine need missiles with a range of 150-200 km, as well as “at least 350 to 450 tanks”. Podolyak also said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces needed artillery and aviation to “support and ensure” the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

He noted that the Ukrainian authorities are conducting the relevant negotiations and that “their demands are reasonable”.

January 25 USA announced about the intention to transfer 31 M1 Abrams tanks to Kyiv. The German authorities also announced that they will send 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and allow these vehicles to be re-exported to other countries. Britain also announced plans to supply tanks to Kyiv.
