Azerbaijan ranks in rating list of largest wine exporter countries

The American Association of Wine Economists (AAWE) has drown up the list of 60 largest wine exporting countries, "APA-Economics" reports.

Azerbaijan with US$ 7.7 mln. wine exports has settled down on 58th place in the list leaving behind Russia. And France became the leader of the list with US$ 11.055 bln. wine exports.

Italy (US$ 7.369 bln.), Spain (US$ 3.494 bln.), Australia (US$ 2.160 bln.) and Chile (US$ 1.999 bln.) have settled down in the top five places of the list.

And the neighbor Georgia has settled down in the 18th place of the list with the annual US$ 197 mln. revenue gained from wine exports.

Note that the mentioned rating list had been prepared on the basis of indicators for 2018.
