Import of tobacco products to Azerbaijan decreases by 19%

During January-May of this year, the value of tobacco and products made of tobacco imported in Azerbaijan has decreased compared to the indicator for the relevant period of the last year, the State Customs Committee told "APA-Economics".

In the reporting period, the tobacco and the products made of tobacco worth a total of $ 32,442.76 thousand were imported in the country which is $ 7,502.48 thousand or 18.8% less compared to the same period of the last year.

Note that during the initial five months of this year, the import of tobacco and products made of tobacco accounted for 0.78% of total import of Azerbaijan.
