Negative balance of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Iran sharply decreases

In January-May of the current year, the volume of trade exchange of Azerbaijan with Iran made up USD 129 348 thousand which is 2,2 times less in comparison to the same period of the previous year, according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the report of State Customs Committee.

In the first five months of the current year, the volume Azerbaijan’s export to Iran made up USD 13 026,4 thousand which is USD 7 667,2 thousand or 37,1% less in comparison to the related period of 2019.

The volume of import was USD 116 321,6 thousand, and this indicator decreased by USD 151 803,2 thousand or 2,3 times in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
