Money supply increases by 6% in Azerbaijan from beginning of year

As of September 1, 2019, the volume of wide money supply has amounted to AZN 25 482,7 mln, which is AZN 159,6 mln. or 0,6% less in comparison to the previous month, Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

This indicator has increased by 6% or AZN 1 422,3 mln. since the beginning of the year, and in comparison to the same period of the previous year has increased by 13,6% or AZN 3 051,1 mln.

As of the beginning of September of the current year, the volume of money supply in the country has amounted to AZN 15 948,6 mln. This indicator has decreased by 1,4% or AZN 233,6 mln over the past month. It has increased by 9% or AZN 1 305,0 mln. from the beginning of the year, and increased by 23,9% or AZN 3 073,2 mln. over the past year.

Note that the money supply is a combination of cash and non-cash payment means that are in circulation in the country.
