“Azerbaijani young people stand by the state, they are ready to go to the frontline”, said Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Issues Department of the Administration at the press conference today, APA reports.
H. Hajiyev noted that militants, who have been trained, are serving along the border: “The problem of assembling personnel exits in the Armenian army. It is related to the demographic problems, disbelief in the army in Armenia. That is why even in the line of contact hired persons are used. There is not such a demographic problem in Azerbaijan, personnel of the army has fully been assembled.
The assistant to the President of Azerbaijan noted that the Supreme Commander-in-Chief announced that if anybody wants to serve in the army again he may pass registration at the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription: “We highly appreciate our youths’ patriotism and enthusiasm. Azerbaijan also has military servicemen in reserve. In case of necessity, they will also be registered on the basis of their residential addresses. In this case, the military training, the having of basic military skills is the main condition. The enthusiasm of our youths is highly appreciated. The Supreme Command-in-Chief has assigned a task to the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription. If necessary, those youths will be directed to proper areas”.
