Regulation on the status of the Honorary President of the Turkic Council will be adopted

“At the VII Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Astana, Nursultan Nazarbayev was given the status of Honorary President of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States. At the extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, we have decided to approve the Regulations on the Honorary President,” Kazakh Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tleuberdi told reporters after an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in Baku, APA reports.

Mukhtar Tleuberdi said that the issue of expanding cooperation between the member states was discussed at the meeting: "We also discussed the issue of countries wishing to cooperate with the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States."
