Britain will be Azerbaijan's main partner in transition to "green energy" - Rishi Sunak

The letter of Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, was read today at the 10th Global Baku Forum themed “The World of Today: Challenges and Hopes”, APA reports.

British PM noted in the letter that today the people of Ukraine are struggling, and the war waged by Russia has created great difficulties.

Mr. Sunak said that the future of Europe depends on the victory of Ukraine: "Russia uses energy resources for the purpose of manipulation and control."

He emphasized that today Azerbaijan's "green energy" initiative, the issue of transmission through the bottom of the Black Sea is very important.

"From now on, Great Britain will be the main partner of Azerbaijan in the transition to green energy," Rishi Sunak added.
