Construction of part of the new Alat-Astara-Islamic Republic of Iran state border highway to the state border with Iran and a new highway bridge on the state border is continued by the Azerbaijan State Agency of Motor Roads (AAYDA), the Agency told APA-Economics.
According to Agency, the project covers a part of 3.05 km starting from the part of 204th km of the state border highway with the Alat-Astara-Islamic Republic of Iran.
The width of the shoulders of the road that was built in accordance with the I technical category, has a width of 26.5 meters, the width of the dividing strip is 4 meters, the width of each is 3.75 meters and has 4 lanes, is 3.75 m
In order not to have an interruption in the preparation of the roadbed, construction materials have been carried to the area, and equipment and manpower have been involved.
Construction work is carried out by taking into consideration of the complex geological condition of the area.
