An employee of Azerbaijan's literature website Kulis.az, Azerbaijani poet, and translator Umid Najjari has been appointed the president of the Asian branch of the European Writers' Association located in Belgium and vice-president of the BOGDANI International Writers' Association, APA reports citing Kulis.az.

Information was published on the official website of the BOGDANI International Writers' Association.

"The International Association of Writers BOGDANI by special decision has decided to appoint Mr. Umid Najjari as the President of the IWA Bogdani Association for Asia. The decision enters into valid on April 26, 2023. Mr. Najjari has also been elected Vice-President of the BOGDANI International Writers’ Association, with headquarters in Brussels and Pristina", the information reads.
