Many issues regarding the planning of the work of the Council of Commanders for 2024 were considered, said the Chairman of the Coordination Service of the Council of Border Troops Commanders of the CIS countries, Colonel-General Alexander Manilov, APA reports.
"The practical measures related to the preparation of normative documents instructed by the order of the heads of state, have been clarified. We are working on two key documents. The first document is a program to strengthen border security at the external borders of CIS for 2005-2030. This is intended to take into account the wishes and positions of all border services and interconnected structures in the CIS member states. The second document, which is very important, is the basis for information policy in the border area of member states, which is still being developed to solve practical problems”
A.Manilov stressed that the opening of the transportation communication gates of the Southern Caucasus would allow all states in the region to establish trade relations.
