Assistant to Azerbaijani President: “There is a need to hold Minsk Group's meeting in a extended format”

“Azerbaijan does not intend to attend meetings with imitative character,” said Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Issues Department of the Administration Hikmat Hajiyev at a press conference held today, APA reports.

H. Hacieyev noted that according to the mandate of Minsk Group co-chairs, the Helsinki Final Act and UN Security Council resolutions should be based on: “Armenia's attempts to disrupt the negotiations through lies and various excuses must be stopped.

11 states are participating in the Minsk process. There is a need to hold a meeting of the Minsk Group in a extended format.”
