Shahmar Movsumov: "We believe in vaccination will start in Azerbaijan soon"

"Vaccines are safe, people have been using vaccines for about a hundred years," said Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy Shahmar Movsumov at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, APA reports.

Sh. Movsumov said that time is needed for preparation of traditional vaccines: "The safest, traditionally-prepared vaccines were not expected to be obtained within a short period of time and be available for all. That is why preparation of vaccines on the basis of a new approach was preferred and vaccines are prepared. But side effects of the vaccines have not been fully investigated. But inactivated vaccines have been prepared very little today and we also believe in using such vaccines."

Assistant to Azerbaijani President noted that the vaccine, prepared in China is the safes, inactivated vaccine: "These processes start in Britain and Turkey now. We believe in the vaccination will start in Azerbaijan soon."
