The Armenian media has disseminated information about crossing border into Armenia by an Azerbaijani citizen aged 26, APA reports.
The “ru.armeniasputnik.am” website writes that the aforementioned person has been detained today in the morning hours in Areguni village of Armenia’s Gegarkunik region bordering with Azerbaijan.
He has been handed over to Armenia’s National Security Service.
Armenia’s National Security Service hasn’t yet made a statement regarding these occurrences.
The State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons is conducting investigation regarding the information about crossing of border into Armenia by the Azerbaijani citizen.
