Vendors whose trade establishments around Azizbayov metro station in Baku have been knocked down did not agreed with Baku Mayor’s Office’s proposal on dealing with trade in the place allotted for them near Ulduz metro station, vendor Shahmar Gurbanov told the APA.
He said that Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov told them yesterday that a large place will be allotted for constructing market near metro station.
“But after seeing that place we was dissatisfied. Because, that area was far away the metro station and people are rare there. Trading is impossible there. And only 1000 sq/meters place have been allotted for new market, this will not provide half of the vendors whose trade establishments were knocked down,” he said.
The vendors were in Baku Mayors’ Office, President’s Office and State Committee on for refugees and IDPs regarding the problem.
Gurbanov said that none of the state organizations expressed concrete opinion on the solution of the problem. He said that the vendors will hold protest actions regarding the problem. /APA/
