98% of prisoners vaccinated at first and 60% at second dose in Azerbaijan-EXCLUSIVE

Vaccination of prisoners detained in penitentiary institutions is implemented in accordance with vaccine strategy carried out over the country, the Ministry of Justice told APA.

98% of prisoners were vaccinated at first and 60% at second dose: “vaccination of people over 40 years old has been completed, those over 18 years old were vaccinated the first dose, currently, the second dose of vaccination is being continued.

The vaccination process is carried out by medical institutions of penitentiary institutions. There have not been registered any severe allergic reaction or complications among prisoners who vaccinated, so far.”
