Based on requirements of national legislation and international agreements approved by us, including Minsk Convention “about legal assistance and legal relations under civil, family and criminal cases”, and in the framework of bilateral relations with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, the inquiries have been made by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan extradition for bringing to criminal responsibility of the persons who committed crime on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office told APA.
The grounded suspicions have been determined regarding infliction of bodily injury referred to causing of least grave damage to health by Faig Guliyev brought to responsibility as accused person to his wife Khayala Guliyeva in their residential house during dispute arisen between them on the grounds of family conflict under the criminal case being under consideration by Absheron region court; and committing of the repeated roguishness actions by Islam Mammadov brought to responsibility as accused person under the criminal case investigated in the Investigation Section of Shamkir region Police Department by abusing trust of several people in order to appropriate other person’s property.
The aforementioned persons have been put on the international wanted list.
On the grounds of determination of location of the persons being on the wanted list, the inquiries made by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation have been satisfied, and Faig Guliyev and Islam Mammadov have been extradited to our country with accompaniment of the special police escort of Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
