Baku – APA-Economics. The U.S. Dow Jones stock index grew 1.98% to 19,123.58 points, S&P 500 slid 0.27% to 2,198.81 points and the NASDAQ fell 1.05% to 5,323.68 points.

In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index surged 0.17% to 6,783.79 points, French CAC 40 ascended 0.59% to 4,578.34 and Germany’s DAX soared 0.19% to 10,640.30.

At the latest COMEX auctions, gold price dropped $0.80 to $1,173.10 an ounce, and silver was sold at $16.48.
