Active portfolio EBRD on Azerbaijan grows

As of March 31, 2021, volume of active portfolio of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on Azerbaijan has been 1,201 bln. euros on 35 projects (including undisbursed commitments). This indicator has increased by 42.2% in comparison with the latest indicator of the Bank (January 31). Number of active projects has increased from 34 to 35, EBRD told APA-Economics.

78% of the portfolio (939 mln. euros) has been made up by investment in sustainable Infrastructure, 20% (240 mln. euros) industry, commerce, and agribusiness, and 2% (21 mln. euros) in financial institutions. Operating assets of the Bank in Azerbaijan increasing by 3,9% amounted to 1,059 bln. euros.
