"Azerbaijan is interested in establishing normal relations with Nakhchivan and opening communications. This is one of the first tasks facing Armenia," Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a plenary session of the Valdai International Discussion Club, APA reports.
"Armenia is in principle interested in building a fruitful economic life and fruitful cooperation in the region, including the establishment of future relations with Azerbaijan, the unfolding of relations with Turkey, and the modernization of these relations. This, in one way or another, should lead to the achievement of the main goal - the creation of conditions for the safe existence of two states and economic development. Is it possible or not? Possible. We have done everything in our power to stop the bloodshed, and not only that: our peacekeepers are doing their job well," he said.
