“As the infection rate increases, we resort to strict quarantine regime”, said the head of the working group on infectious diseases of TABIB Vasif Aliyev, at the press conference of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
V. Aliyev said the issue regarding lack of doctors in Ganja will also be investigated: “We may witness critical situation not only in Ganja but also in Baku and other places. Some people stay at home, hide their disease, and this paves way for more serious problems. From this viewpoint, a doctor in Ganja has addressed an appeal to people to put an end to the cynicism about the virus. I know many people who hide their infection with coronavirus from their family members. And such cases result in growth of infection rate. If there are many infection cases, the patients in mild condition will forcibly stay at home”.
