Azerbaijani deputy Health Minister comments on decreasing age of getting vaccination

Azerbaijani deputy Health Minister Viktor Gasimov has commented on decreasing the age of getting a vaccination, Deputy Minister told APA.

According to him, reducing or increasing the age of the vaccine depends on the vaccine manufacturer. The manufacturer conducts clinical trials and indicates in its instructions the age at which the vaccine can be injected: “For example, we do not object to the Pfizer vaccine being injected to children over the age of 12, this vaccine can be used with parental consent. It is not expected that the reduction of the age limit will be included in the Vaccination Strategy."
