Japan ambassador visited Guba Genocide Memorial Complex -PHOTO

Japanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada has today visited Guba Genocide Memorial Complex, APA’s Northern bureau reports.

The ambassador has been informed about the genocide committed by Armenian-Bolshevik units.

It was noted that the Guba genocide cemetery has been found during an excavation in the area on April 1, 2007. After that, large research work has been conducted in the area by the employees of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of ANAS. As a result of researches, it has been discovered that the cemetery is related to the genocide committed against the local civilians by the Armenians in 1918.

Book and booklets reflecting the genocide events have been presented to the Ambassador by the management of the complex.
