Columbus Police officers along with SWAT teams have responded to reports of multiple shots fired in west Columbus. Lindbergh Elementary School and Briggs High School are on lockdown, APA reports quoting Sputnik.
The Columbus Ohio Police Deprtment confirmed that at least two schools were on lockdown due to the shooting. The third school, Hilltonia Middle School, is reportedly operating under a delayed dismissal and a lockdown.
The Columbus Ohio Police Department said that an unidentified male suspect had fired multiple shots near Apple Blossom Lane off Eakin Road and urged locals to avoid the area.
