In the meantime, the South Asian nation's coronavirus death toll increased to 44,386, after health authorities recorded 1,007 new virus-related fatalities during the day.
On the other hand, the number of recoveries from the disease reached a total of 1,535,743, rising by 54,859 in the twenty-four hour time.
