The fire occurred on the borderline of Georgia-Armenia passing through Gachagan village of Marneuli town has been extinguished, APA’s local bureau report citing Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Georgia.
Noted that 65 firefighters from 7 firefighting staff have been involved in the extinguishing the fire.
Also mentioned that fire occurred on the border line, has firstly broken out in Armenian territory and then spread over Georgian territory.
Border Guards of the Georgian MIA have been involved in the scene.
