Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the likelihood of a meeting with the head of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, APA reports citing Ria Novosti.

Following the results of a working trip to Iran, Putin assessed the likelihood of meeting with Zelensky and recalled Kyiv’s refusal to implement the agreements reached.

“In order to create conditions for negotiations, our troops withdrew from the center of Ukraine, from Kyiv. The Kyiv authorities refused to implement these agreements, although they were practically achieved. So the final result depends, of course, not on the mediators, but on the desire of the contracting parties to fulfill the agreements reached. We see today that the Kyiv authorities have no such desire,” the head of state stressed.
