On Wednesday, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko stated that Kyiv had suspended its participation in the negotiations with Moscow about the security guarantees for Ukraine and that there were no new attempts to resume the process, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to the RIA news agency, recent statements made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Russia's withdrawal as a prerequisite for the resumption of bilateral talks are hardly "constitutive," the Russian diplomat noted.

Ukrainians did not set any demands before the first phase of peace talks, and "if they now set these conditions, this forces us to doubt the sincerity of their desire to find a peaceful solution," Rudenko concluded.
