Amendment made in the the Labor Code of Azerbaijan in connection with the Day of Remembrance

The Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been amended in connection with the Day of Remembrance, this is reflected in the draft law discussed in the third reading at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

According to the proposed Article 106.1 of the Labor Code (Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan), September 27 will be the Day of Remembrance of the martyrs who died for the liberation of the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Remembrance Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Note that the draft law comes from the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated December 2, 2020 "On the establishment of the Day of Remembrance in the Republic of Azerbaijan."

The draft law was put to a vote and adopted.
