Azerbaijan increased production of commodity gas by up to 9%

In January-October of this year, the total value of production in the mining industry in Azerbaijan made up AZN 56 bln and decreased by 1,9% in comparison to January-October of the previous year, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

Commodity crude oil production which is the main product of the field, made up 27 161,8 thousand tons, and commodity natural gas production made up 28 689,6 mln cubic meters.

"Commodity oil production decreased by 5,5% in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year, commodity gas production increased by 8,6%," noted in the information.

Noted that in total, in the reporting period, 27 238,6 thousand tons of oil and 38 449,4 mln cubic meters of gas were produced that which relevantly means a 5,4% decrease and a 7,5% increase.
