Azerbaijan and Israel discussed attracting private investment to startups

A discussion was conducted between Azerbaijan and Israel on attracting private investors to finance startups, the Entrepreneurshıp Development Fund of the Republıc of Azerbaıjan told APA.

Acting Head of Board of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurship Development Fund Osman Khaliyev and Deputy Chief of Mission Charge d`Affairs at Israel's Embassy in Baku Doron Pe'er exchanged views on the mentioned issue during the meeting.

The sides also discussed potential opportunities for cooperation between the parties, access to financial resources of micro, small and medium enterprises, and prospects for the implementation of joint financing programs.

Doron Pe'er was informed about the current activity directions of the fund, financial support programs, preferential credit and subsidy mechanisms
