More than 50 employees of the Russian embassy will have to leave Romania within 30 days, the press service of the Romanian Foreign Ministry reported, APA reports citing Oreanda news.
Thus, Russia should reduce 51 employees: 21 diplomats and 30 technical and administrative staff. In fact, 11 diplomats and 29 staff members should remain at the embassy.
The Romanian Foreign Ministry noted that this decision reflects the current level of bilateral relations. Who exactly should leave Bucharest, the Russian authorities can determine for themselves, if they do not, the Foreign Ministry will take measures to revoke the accreditation of some employees of the diplomatic mission.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow would give an appropriate response.
