Russia is ready to discuss opportunities for exporting Ukrainian grain and Ukraine should clear mines from coastal waterways and ports that it has been blocking, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzya told reporters on Thursday, APA reports citing TASS.

"I don’t know how much these publications reflect reality," he said, referring to reports about creating a roadmap for Russia, Ukraine, the UN and Turkiye for grain exports and a meeting planned on this issue in the coming days.

"There is a lot of speculation about the export [of grain], the Europeans are creating so-called corridors of solidarity, trying to export Ukrainian grain by land, although this is not very effective," Nebenzya said.

"Someone is talking about the creation of some centers, there’s a lot of speculation about this," the diplomat continued.

"We said that we are ready to discuss this issue, but there are conditions for its implementation, such as removal of mines by the Ukrainian side from the coastal waters and ports that it’s blocking," he said,
