Shentop: “Hosting more than 4 million migrants has been a challenge for Turkiye”

“As it is known, migration is one of the most serious problems of the world in recent years. We are face to face with a global problem. In this regard, we decided to organize a program within the Inter-Parliamentary Union, chairman of Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Shentop told Azerbaijani journalists, APA reports.

According to Shentop, the second issue is that Turkey is the largest host country for migrants in the world.

“It is more than 10 years rgar we are dealing with this issue, we have experience in this regard. Along with this, we have some challenges that we meet. Thus, hosting more than 4 million migrants, including 3.6 million Syrians, has given Turkey both experience and knowledge, as well as some challenges.”
