Chairman of CBA: "Financial sector in Azerbaijan must be more stable, sustainable"

“I would like to share with you my pride on the occasion of the final victory of our victorious army over the Armenian invaders under the direct leadership of President Ilham Aliyev,” said the chairman of Central Bank Elman Rustamov at the meeting of the Committee of Economic policy, industry, and entrepreneurship today, APA reports.
The chairman of the Central bank said that relying on the created economic potential very great works have been done in the field of army building: “After 30 years, the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was fully restored. After this victory, the economy of Azerbaijan demonstrates stability. And the Armenian economy is in complete decline, the process of devaluation has begun. We have great economic potential. After the victory, important challenges arose. The restoration of the occupied territories, the attraction of these territories to the economic potential will further increase our economic power. In this direction, the financial sector faces important challenges. Today we are all aware of the challenges in world markets, oil prices, and more. Azerbaijan's financial sector should be more stable, sustainable.”
